In this presentation we look at a simple set of structured plays, all controlled by the nominated “first receiver(s)” which make use of penetrators coming from depth and with the added advantage that all players participating in or supporting the attacking play know exactly where the attack is directed, dramatically improving ball retention at the breakdown.
