A former Australian and Queensland State of Origin halfback and coach, and coach of the Melbourne Storm, Mark is a thoughtful, conservative coach who places great emphasis on discipline and mistake-free football in his game plans.

He has had considerable experience as both a player and a coach at a high level, guiding Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs (1991-94), Queensland (1999-2000) and Melbourne (2001-2).

Currently general manager of Brisbane Norths Devils, where he played from 1978-81 and won the Queensland Cup as coach in 1998, Murray also coached Brisbane Capitals, Queensland Residents and Brisbane Norths.
